I can’t believe we’re in the middle of July. It seems no sooner am I getting out of bed then I’m getting back in! I’ve decided that I’m making for Christmas and I jolly well ought to get on with it. So I’ve started a beautiful design by Sandra Paul (Cherry Heart), called Ziggy Interrupted. It takes five 100g skeins but is totally worth it as it’s one of the prettiest things I’ve ever crocheted.
I have used two Fairy Realm Yarns yarn and one each of Crafternoon Treats, Allegria, and John Arbon. All a joy to work with.
Since the weather has cheered up I have felt a great urge to get outside and get my hands dirty. As you might expect, the weeds have done exceedingly well but the garden was somewhat lacking in colour. Cue, a trip to the garden centre. I am now the proud owner of some beautiful pelargoniums and a nice selection of herbs…always thinking of my stomach ;).
Forgive the wonky pictures but my computer seems determined to upload them this way. Which is really annoying …GRRRR!
I am working on some new ideas for the shop which will , hopefully, be available soon.
Take care everyone and have a glorious summer X
That crochet is gorgeous! 😍 Pretty garden too! My garden is full of lavender at the moment! I love it!
Thank you, Louise. I do love my garden. At the moment I’m enjoying the scent of phlox and honeysuckle.
