Distinctly Autumnal

Mornings are chill and leaves are taking on those red and gold tinges that remind us that the year is moving on. The children will soon be back at school and the hunt will start for those elusive hats, gloves and scarfs that were packed away earlier in the year.

Although Spring is my favourite season, Autumn comes a cosy second. I’m sure we all dream of long evenings sat by the fire, wrapped in our beautiful and comforting woollens; long walks in the crisp air kicking through leaves while the low sun dapples the earth beneath our feet.

It’s only natural, then, that my dyeing is taking on an autumnal theme. I’m also excited to be adding some very special mini sets to my shop. It involves a lot of floof! Here’s a teaser…

My holiday is just around the corner but I have a lot to do before we gallop off to Suffolk. I’m almost finished a birthday gift and will be taking it to its recipient very soon. I’m so excited about this as I’ve put a lot of love and time into it.

Totally in love with this project. Ziggy Interrupted by Sandra Paul

Enjoy what’s left of Summer and look forward to the next season’s gentle slowing! Take care, everyone.
