Bank Holiday

Well, what a corker of a holiday weekend! I know not everyone appreciates the heat but we get so little of it in the UK that I like to make the most of it. We got out and about in the glorious countryside, ate out, and managed to spend a fortune on a new, but very necessary, new printer. We’ve also been having a bit of decorating done. Everything always seems to happen together. I’m not complaining, by the way.

Because of the upheaval, dyeing has been out of the question, but it’s given me the opportunity to catch up on paper work and beady jobs. That means new stitch markers and progress keepers to be had!

The fields and hedgerows are taking on that dusty/golden look of late Summer. A multitude of berries hints of Autumn just round the corner…the wildlife will be grateful for those. I love the feeling of everything slowing down and the “mists and mellow fruitfulness”

The children will be back at school within days and our daily routine will change again. I hope your days will be full of good things. Bye for now x
