I was born and have lived on the edge of the South Downs in the heart of Hampshire for all of my life. My love for the surrounding countryside has only grown over the years and many hours have been spent wandering over and through the rolling hills and valleys. With time permitting I would spend many more.
Crafts have played a big part in my life, and I enjoy many, including knitting, crochet (especially lace), bead weaving, drawing and sewing.
In fact, it was my interest in knitting that led me into dyeing the raw materials, satisfying my love for colour. The way new colourways evolve is never boring, and a great deal of fun.
All skeins are hand dyed with professional acid dyes in a smoke free environment. I strive to make all those of a particular colourway as similar as possible. However, being hand dyed, no two are identical and I would recommend alternating skeins.
All feedback is greatly appreciated. It is great to know when a customer loves a product, but is also important to know when something is not quite right so improvements can be made and problems rectified.
